Qualification:<\/p>\n
\tDiploma in Supply Chain and Logistics or related qualification (NQF 6) (Essential)
\n\tDegree in\u00a0Supply Chain and Logistics or related qualification (NQF 7) (Advantage)<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\t2 or more years\u2019 experience within a warehouse environment
\n\t1 year supervisory experience in a warehouse environment<\/p>\n
Specific Knowledge Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tComputer literate, with solid proficiency in MS Excel for reporting and data analysis.
\n\tExperience with SAP, including bin history, printing and capturing stock count sheets.
\n\tMust hold a valid driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Inbound Logistics<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0 Supervising the planning, preparation and checking of inbound shipments
\n\t\u00a0 Controls & Coordinates inbound activities
\n\t\u00a0 Reports on statistics & analytics to facilitate continuous improvement of warehouse operations
\n\t\u00a0 Reports on slow-moving & obsolete stock<\/p>\n
Warehouse Supervision & Inventory Control<\/p>\n
\tFacilitates and monitors correct storage of items
\n\tMaintains\/improves planograph (lay out) of the warehouse facility
\n\tChecks that warehouse and yard security is maintained and that assets are safeguarded
\n\tArranges and participates in stock counts (perpetual stock counts and ad hoc counts as required)
\n\tSupervises warehouse operations in multiple stores, such as tool stores, consumable stores and hazardous materials stores
\n\tMonitors bins, layouts and zones by conducting inspections
\n\tMonitors tidiness, cleanliness and order in the warehouse<\/p>\n
Parts Obsolescence<\/p>\n
\tPrints parts obsolescence reports at set frequency as per procedure
\n\tAdministrates the parts scrapping procedure
\n\tMonitors parts for obsolescence
\n\tReports obsolete parts to management<\/p>\n
Outbound Logistics<\/p>\n
\tSupervises the planning, preparation and checking of outbound shipments
\n\tControls & Coordinates outbound activities
\n\tMonitors picking for outbound inventory \/ parts\/components\/items
\n\tMonitors “zero” picking
\n\tSupervises the operation of mechanical handling equipment (e.g. fork lifts, etc.)
\n\tReports on statistics and analytics
\n\tReports on customer satisfaction about outbound activities\u00a0<\/p>\n
