Job Description<\/p>\n
\tWe are currently on a search for an Associate Distribution Planner to join one of South Africa\u2019s leading appliances manufacturer . The purpose of the role will be optimising the movement of goods from order planning to customer delivery in the most cost-efficient manner. This entails but not limited to inventory management, route planning, stakeholder coordination, order fulfilment and risk management.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tPlanning deliveries from national\/regional warehouses to customers thereby
\n\tOptimising transport costs and ensuring sales orders are expedited as per customers\u2019 requirements.
\n\tCustomer communication on a daily basis
\n\tEnsuring that all dedicated vehicles are fully utilized.
\n\tEnsuring all deliveries are completed timeously.
\n\tEnsuring customer POD\u2019s are captured at the relevant NDC\/Branch
\n\tStock counts at financial year-end
\n\tReporting to Internal and external customers
\n\tAd hoc administration functions<\/p>\n
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tDegree in Logistics\/Supply Chain.
\n\t2- 4 Years experience within a supply chain with a focus on Outbound logistics.
\n\tAdvanced MS Office experience.
\n\tExcellent communication skills are essential.
\n\tSAP Experience being a pre-requisite.<\/p>\n
