ROLE SUMMARY:<\/p>\n
\tTo adopt a holistic view to students in their care, promoting the general progress and well-being of individuals and of any class or group assigned to them.
\n\tTo create a positive learning environment and motivate students to achieve their full potential<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tWelcoming visitors to the school and redirecting them to requested person \/ venue in the school or administration wing.
\n\tKeeping reception area and piazza neat and tidy.
\n\tAnswering phones and taking messages \/ passing on information \/ emailing messages to staff.
\n\tForwarding emails that come to reception email address on to relevant staff members.
\n\tReceiving prospective students\/ parents\/ staff to the School.
\n\tKeeping an emergency contact list and procedures updated in Reception File.
\n\tAssisting with large Public Relations events such as Open\/ Information sessions.
\n\tPrinting and emailing documents as requested by staff.
\n\tTyping of educational materials and assessments if needs be.
\n\tArranging teaching staff travel arrangements for conferences and workshops
\n\tEnsure class lists are compiled, updated and generated at the beginning of each term.
\n\tLiaising with stationers and textbook suppliers
\n\tCommunicating with parents to advertise all important Back to School dates and procedures
\n\tManaging the Sick Bay \u2013 tending to students who are injured or are unwell; tending to wounds \/ injuries; keep an eye on students in the sick bay and providing TLC to sick children; keep sick bay area clean and tidy.
\n\tContacting the parents of sick or wounded students<\/p>\n
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:<\/p>\n
Skills and Previous Experience:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of 5 years\u2019 administrative experience.
\n\tVerbal and written communication skills
\n\tStrong administrative skills<\/p>\n
