We are seeking a recently qualified CA(SA) to join our finance team as a Finance Manager. This role is ideal for a motivated professional looking to transition from training or post articles experience into a hands on commercial environment, with clear opportunities for growth and increased responsibility.
\n\tThe successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and supporting strategic decision making across the business.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
\n\tManage and maintain cash flow forecasting, including short\u2011 and medium\u2011term projections
\n\tMonitor actual cash flows against forecasts and provide proactive insights
\n\tAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
\n\tEnsure compliance with IFRS and relevant statutory requirements
\n\tSupport year\u2011end audits and liaise with external auditors
\n\tMonitor and improve internal controls and financial processes
\n\tManage the company\u2019s insurance portfolio, including:
\n\tReviewing coverage and renewals
\n\tLiaising with brokers and insurers
\n\tEnsuring appropriate risk cover and cost efficiency
\n\tPartner with operational teams to provide financial insights and decision support
\n\tAssist with working capital management and financial planning
\n\tContribute to finance projects, process improvements, and system enhancements
\n\tDrive performance improvements within the accounting department by:
\n\tIdentifying inefficiencies and process gaps
\n\tImproving reporting timelines, accuracy, and quality
\n\tSupporting the development and upskilling of junior finance staff<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tRecently qualified CA(SA)
\n\tStrong technical accounting foundation
\n\tExposure to management accounts, audits, and financial reporting
\n\tCommercial or post\u2011articles experience is advantageous but not essential<\/p>\n
