Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade: 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
\n\t2 years experience as an assistant manager\/Related
\n\tComputer literate \u2013 MS Outlook, Excel, Word. MS Teams\/Zoom.
\n\tWillingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends and stock takes after hours
\n\tWillingness to be moved from store to store if and when need be
\n\tWillingness and ability to undertake physical hands-on tasks
\n\tComplete an assessment<\/p>\n

Customer Journey:<\/p>\n
\tCustomer centric approach
\n\tEnsuring customer service standards are rigorously applied
\n\tAttending to all customer service requests, advertising on product and services.
\n\tEnsure that VM standards are adhered to and execution of all plans and promotions.<\/p>\n
People Management: (Assist Store Manager with functions)<\/p>\n
\tManage all people related aspects on an ongoing bases for staff.
\n\tAble to deal with employee shortcomings if\/when needed.
\n\tAssist with recruitment on a store level according to company policy and procedures.
\n\tAssist with Identify training and Development initiatives for employees.
\n\tAssist with performance management \u2013 focus on talent management and succession planning.
\n\tAble to lead and manage a team of employees.
\n\tAssist with identify training initiatives and develop staff accordingly.<\/p>\n
Daily Operations\/Stock Management\/Risk Management:<\/p>\n
\tOpening and locking of store in accordance with the company security procedures
\n\tConducting start & end of day reporting and procedures
\n\tConducting administration (staff scheduling & leave, invoices, pricing, costs, floats & banking, expense control, reconciliations, CDC and head office instructions etc) per company standards and procedures
\n\tEnsuring merchandise is offloaded, captured, packed, merchandised & displayed per company policy
\n\tMonitoring quality and controlling soilage of merchandise and taking appropriate action
\n\tControlling shrinkage
\n\tEnsure that OHS standards are adhered to at all times<\/p>\n
Sales\/Promotions:<\/p>\n
\tPromoting sales to achieve budgets and monitoring sales, turnover and participation.
\n\tConducting promotions
\n\tImplementation of markdowns and RTC\u2019s<\/p>\n
