We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Field Service Technician to join our team on a contract basis. \u00a0The successful candidate must reside in Bloemfontein, Free State.
\n\tThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and reliability of all Arjo equipment within hospitals and Medical facilities. This role will involve extensive travel in and around the Free State and Northern Cape region, encompassing servicing, fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairs on all Arjo supplied equipment. Efficient turnaround times and the completion of services and repairs are given high priority with a strong emphasis on quality.<\/p>\n
Experience, qualifications, and skills required:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
\n\tMinimum 3 years of technical experience with an electrical and or mechanical engineering background.
\n\tRelevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous.
\n\tMinimum of 2 years field service experience.
\n\tAdvanced computer literacy skills in MS Excel and Outlook.
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license (Code 08\/EB) and PDP would be an advantage.
\n\tMinimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in driving a company vehicle
\n\tAbility to work independently.
\n\tSelf-motivated
\n\tExcellent time management skills.
\n\tAbility in translating and reading technical schematics and diagrams
\n\tMust be customer service oriented.
\n\tMust be available to work after hours on an ad hoc basis.
\n\tMust be available to travel nationally when needed or required.
\n\tSolid business acumen.<\/p>\n
As the Medical Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
Duties:<\/p>\n
\tService & repair systems to full working capacity.
\n\tAssess, repair, service & provide reports over a wide range of equipment
\n\tPerform annual maintenance services on demo equipment
\n\tComplete quality field actions and provide reports
\n\tMaintain and follow warranty processors and procedures for all intended repairs.
\n\tFill in and complete job cards for any service repairs, warranties or labour related work
\n\tSchedule weekly plans and activities
\n\tComplete paper work submissions and daily activity reports.
\n\tAssist with service related queries at hospitals or customer sites.
\n\tCommunicate weekly visits and schedules to Hospitals
\n\tMaintain & build good customer relationships
\n\tBuild relationships with service consultants for support on service activities.
\n\tPlan country trips to outline areas and regions to complete equipment inspections, services & repairs
\n\tFill out quotations for replacement parts and keep a track record
\n\tAdhere to safety and quality standards on all Arjo products.
\n\tUpdate & capture assessment and manage service records
\n\tMaintain company vehicle in good condition.
\n\tMaintain vehicle mileage logbook.
\n\tManage tools and testing equipment
