\tDis-Chem Pharmacies\u2019 Kingsburgh Junction (New Store) has an opportunity available for a Retail Store Assistant to join the team. The main purpose of this role will be assist with the overall management of the store to ensure, operational and administrative duties are performed as per the standard policy and procedure.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u2026
\nEssential:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 \/ Matric
\n\tBasic computer skills (Word, Excel and Outlook). SAP.
\n\tRetail experience<\/p>\n
Job Specification\u2026<\/p>\n
\tManage and report all customer complements and complaints to management.
\n\tEstablish a professional relationship with customers.
\n\tEnsure all customer stock queries are dealt with and resolved.
\n\tMaintain effective external communication with customers when they require feedback.
\n\tAssist customer with any enquiries and refer customers to the appropriate departments where applicable.
\n\tAdhere to the customer turnover per hour rate as per company benchmark.
\n\tManage the shorts and overs at the point of sale, including the floats.
\n\tManage refund and return transactions.
\n\tEnsure that back shopping and returned goods are handled correctly.
\n\tVerify and review deliveries and invoices for total accuracy.
\n\tAssist the Receiving Manager in preparing and logging Distribution Centre claims on the Distribution Centre claims system.
\n\tManage and control high risk stock
\n\tPrepare the run reconciliation on a daily basis.
\n\tPrepare, order and receive the branch change requirements to ensure cashiers have enough change to ensure the best customer service levels.
\n\tMaintain effective liaison between relevant parties.
\n\tMaintain effective document control including but not limited to float, petty cash, cash on hand.<\/p>\n
