PURPOSE<\/p>\n
\tThis exciting opportunity exists to implement and maintain the Fraser Alexander SHEQ management systems to effectively manage Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality-related risks within the area of responsibility.
\n\tThe role aims to create an environment where employees act responsibly in relation to the risks associated with their specific work environment. It also includes developing basic SHEQ systems in line with client requirements that are not addressed by the existing Fraser Alexander SHEQ system.<\/p>\n
RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tPolicy, Targets, Objectives, and Goals
\n\tEnsure that the current SHEQ Policies are displayed in all areas of the
\n\toperation.
\n\tEnsure that all employees are aware of the SHEQ policy, targets, objectives,
\n\tand goals.<\/p>\n
Legal Aspects and Requirements<\/p>\n
\tEnsure company practices comply with legislative requirements.
\n\tEnsure the submission of applicable statutory documents.
\n\tMonitor, review, and compile quality datafiles.
\n\tConduct quarterly review of appointments in each audit area and update as necessary
\n\tAdvise management\/appointees of their roles, responsibilities, and duties.
\n\tMonitor and review the environmental management plan and the client\u2019s
\n\tImplement and monitor the project quality plan.<\/p>\n
Risk Assessment<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that all contracts have a baseline risk assessment with respect to environmental, quality, and occupational health and safety. monitor the medical status of employees.
\n\tEnsurecontrolmeasuresforidentifiedhazardsareimplementedandmonitor compliance thereof.
\n\tenvironmental requirements.
\n\tReporting, Recording and\/or Review
\n\tSubmit a monthly report to the SHEQ Manager.
\n\tReport all Disabling or any SHEQ incidents to the SHEQ Manager.
\n\tReport and assist with incident management.<\/p>\n
SPECIAL PROJECTS<\/p>\n
\tProvide ongoing feedback to management throughout the project.
\n\tConductaprojectreviewuponcompletiontoensurecontinualimprovement.
\n\tLiaisewithtechniciansandlaboratorypersonneltocoordinateinspectionand testing schedules<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tDiploma in Health and Safety Management.
\n\tCertified Internal Audit or for Integrated Management Systems.
\n\tProvenexperienceimplementingISO14001EnvironmentalManagement systems.
\n\tFirst Aid Certification.
\n\tProvenexperienceimplementingISO9001QualityManagementSystems.
\n\tProven experienceimplementingISO45001OccupationalHealthand Safety Management Systems.<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of 1-2 years\u2019 proven experience in a SHEQ role.
\n\tExpertise in hazard identification and risk assessment.<\/p>\n
SKILLS,QUALITIESANDABILITIESREQUIRED<\/p>\n
\tProficiency in Microsoft Office.
\n\tProblem solving.
\n\tGood Communication(both written and verbal).
\n\tReport preparation.
\n\tFilling and maintaining SHEQ documentation.
