Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 (Matric)
\n\t1-2 years\u2019 practical work experience in General worker tourism\/ hospitality environment.
\n\tCommunication skills both written and verbal.
\n\tBasic understanding of customer service principles to interact politely and professionally with guest.
\n\tKnowledge of first aid and safe working procedures.
\n\tHygiene skills and Room attendant will be added advantage.
\n\tKnowledge of SANParks Act as well as safety regulation and code of conduct.
\n\tWorking well in a team environment.
\n\tUnderstanding of accepted tourism standards<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tPerform routine and deep cleaning of public areas such as reception area, lobbies, corridors, elevator, lounges, restrooms, conference facilities and other guest-accessible spaces as per workflow chart and schedule.
\n\tProvide clear handover to colleagues on the next shift.
\n\tReport technical and maintenance problems and perform minor maintenance tasks.
\n\tHand over any lost property to housekeeping management.
\n\tSign off daily work schedule.
\n\tUse equipment as per manufacture\u2019s specifications.
\n\tUse chemicals according to set standards.
\n\tControl inventory items.
\n\tAssist with the collection of supplies when necessary.
\n\tAssist with room attendant work I hotel and chalets.
\n\tEnsure sufficient supply of stock to guest unit.
\n\tAd hoc duties as instructed by supervisor<\/p>\n
