Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Stock Auditing and Inventory Governance<\/p>\n
\tLead comprehensive and continuous stock audits across all Belgotex facilities.
\n\tIdentify gaps in stock control, warehouse processes, physical counting, and system integration.
\n\tWork with operational teams to implement corrective actions and ongoing control improvements.
\n\tEvaluate and strengthen processes for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
\n\tMonitor cycle counting practices and verify accuracy against system records.
\n\tReport material stock discrepancies directly to the CFO and the CEO with recommended remediation plans.<\/p>\n
Systems and Process Audits<\/p>\n
\tAssess the design and effectiveness of ERP, inventory, procurement, and production-related system controls.
\n\tEvaluate user access controls, segregation of duties, and change management procedures.
\n\tConduct end-to-end process audits to identify operational inefficiencies and vulnerabilities.
\n\tWork with IT and operations leadership to improve system reliability and data integrity.<\/p>\n
Governance, Risk, and Internal Control Frameworks<\/p>\n
\tStrengthen Belgotex\u2019s internal control environment and ensure alignment with best practice frameworks.
\n\tMaintain the internal audit plan based on risk assessment and organisational priorities.
\n\tMonitor adherence to internal policies and financial controls.
\n\tProvide regular governance reporting to the CFO, Audit Committee, and CEO.<\/p>\n
ESG, ISO and Sustainability-Related Audits<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate and evaluate compliance with relevant ISO standards (including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
\n\tAssess environmental, social, and governance practices across business units.
\n\tWork with sustainability teams to identify improvement areas and audit ESG data integrity.
\n\tParticipate in readiness and compliance audits for SMETA and related customer-led assessments.<\/p>\n
Zurich Fire and Safety Audit Oversight<\/p>\n
\tLead preparedness and compliance for Zurich fire audits.
\n\tAssess fire safety controls, documentation, risk mitigation systems, and emergency protocols.
\n\tTrack findings and drive closure of identified risks in collaboration with EHS teams.<\/p>\n
Supplier and Sub-Contractor Audits<\/p>\n
\tConduct audits of key suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers, focusing on quality, compliance, ESG, and contractual obligations.
\n\tIdentify supplier risks that may impact Belgotex\u2019s operational or reputational exposure.
\n\tWork with the procurement department to establish and enforce supplier governance standards.<\/p>\n
Reporting and Stakeholder Engagement<\/p>\n
\tPresent audit findings, risk insights, and improvement recommendations to the CFO and the CEO.
\n\tPartner with functional leaders to design practical remediation plans.
\n\tTrack progress on corrective actions and escalate concerns when necessary.
\n\tProvide quarterly risk and control updates for Executive and Audit Committee reporting.<\/p>\n
Continuous Improvement<\/p>\n
\tPromote a culture of discipline, accountability, and operational excellence.
\n\tIdentify systemic issues and champion long-term solutions.
\n\tMentor internal teams on best practices in controls, risk management, and stock integrity.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or related field.
\n\tProfessional certification preferred (CIA, CISA, CA(SA), or equivalent).
\n\tAt least 5\u20137 years of internal audit experience, preferably in manufacturing, supply chain, or complex operational environments.
\n\tExperience with stock control audits, operational audits, compliance frameworks, and systems reviews.
\n\tFamiliarity with ISO standards, ESG reporting frameworks, and SMETA audits.
\n\tStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n
