Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tMonitor compliance to legislation and regulations
\n\tInform management of new legislation and regulations and arrange information sessions or training if needed
\n\tCompile and manage compliance Framework
\n\tManage Fraud Prevention Strategy
\n\tMonitor and report on all compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
\n\tEnsure that appropriate risk management systems are developed, implemented and reviewed to achieve alignment with strategic decision-making and performance measures
\n\tEnsure that risk appetite and risk tolerances are well defined
\n\tMonitor and assess risk management across all departments treatment plans for each business unit to ensure that risk processes are comprehensive, continuous, coordinated and consistent
\n\tEnsure that all company assets and risks are adequately insured
\n\tManage claim process and self-insurance fund
\n\tCo-ordinate Health and safety committee meetings for the company
\n\tEnsure that appointment letters of Health and Safety Representatives are in place
\n\tEnsure training of the health and safety representatives
\n\tProvide guidance to the Health and Safety committee
\n\tCo-ordinate and monitor health and safety compliance in the company
\n\tCompile and maintain the incident register
\n\tKeep updated with Health and Safety legislation and regulations
\n\tEnsure that all Health and safety documentation remain compliant
\n\tInduction of new staff on health and safety<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tRelevant 3-year (level 6) tertiary qualification in Finance, Auditing, Legal or Risk Management.
\n\tAdvantageous: Bachelor of Law Degree
\n\tBetween 3 and 5 years\u2019 experience in legal, risk and compliance management.
\n\t2 years\u2019 experience of insurance management<\/p>\n
