Leadership<\/p>\n
\tReport directly to Quality Manager on site.
\n\tSupervise Quality Controllers to ensure consistent and accurate quality checks.
\n\tCreate and manage work schedules for the Quality department.
\n\tSupport New Product Development.
\n\tEnsure Quality controllers have the necessary tools to perform their work function<\/p>\n
Verifications and Calibrations<\/p>\n
\tReview weekly compliance to swabbing plans and product submission.
\n\tOversee that inspections, on products and processes are conducted to verify compliance with specifications, standards, and procedures
\n\tMonitor and enforce GMP standards across the entire facility.
\n\tConduct routine spot checks on cleaning efficacy.
\n\tEnsure that equipment used in the facility for QC and Food safety are verified and calibrated as per schedule.<\/p>\n
Documentation<\/p>\n
\tVerify that records are completed correctly and give guidance and training where necessary
\n\tAssist with compilation of Export documents
\n\tIn conjunction with NPD, assist in ensuring raw material specification, packaging specification and final product specifications are available for the facility. Request from suppliers when required.
\n\tEnsure records are readily available when required.
\n\tCoordinate the administration of the Food Safety and Quality System.
\n\tMaintain accurate QA records for audit and certification purposes.<\/p>\n
Non Con-formances and Customer Feedback<\/p>\n
\tCompleting the NCR documents as triggered by customer complains \/GMP\/PRP\/ Audit findings.
\n\tFollow up on Corrective and preventative actions.
\n\tClose NCRs.
\n\tManage product restriction (on hold) program, including the status release and destruction of reject products.
\n\tWork closely with production, NPD, QC and other teams to resolve quality concerns.
\n\tProvide training and guidance to staff on quality requirements and best practices.
\n\tCommunicate the customer complaints to relevant production manager for investigation. Assist responsible person\/ incident owner with investigation to identify root cause.
\n\tAssist with completion of customer complain feedback and send to the Customer liaison.<\/p>\n
Audits<\/p>\n
\tSecond in charge of handling third party audits in the absent of Quality Manager.
\n\tParticipate in all regulatory and customer requirements audits and inspections, and corrective actions response.<\/p>\n
Reporting<\/p>\n
\tInvolved in the analysis of quality and food safety -related data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
\n\tPrepare detailed weekly QA reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
\n\tPrepare trends for Customer complaints, NCR\u2019s (micro, PRP, CCP), Audit trends (results, re-occurring findings, findings)
\n\tReport any change that may affect food safety and quality which may trigger a system, policy, procedure or record review.<\/p>\n
Quantum Lean<\/p>\n
\tDrive that 5S is implemented and maintained.\u00a0
\n\tDrive the team to use quantum lean tools in scope of their work.
\n\tCoordinate the team in preparation for benchmark.
\n\tEnsure visual boards are kept updated by the team.
\n\tAssist QA manager in driving for positive morale within QA team.<\/p>\n
