Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tGrade 10\/Standard 8 or AET Level 4 (Essential\/Minimum)
\n\tSkills Programme in Field Ranger Law Enforcement (Essential\/Minimum)
\n\tMinimum 1 year of relevant job-specific Ranger experience (Essential)
\n\tPsychometric Assessment (Essential\/Minimum)
\n\tCertificate of Fitness (Essential\/Minimum)
\n\tValid Public Driver’s License, Code EB (Essential\/Minimum)
\n\tStrong understanding of conservation practices and environmental legislation enforcement
\n\tAbility to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services
\n\tProficient in monitoring and access control to conservation areas
\n\tEffective communication skills for interaction with visitors and stakeholders<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tConduct regular patrols to prevent unauthorized access and detect potential security threats.
\n\tMonitor and enforce access control measures and guidelines within conservation areas.
\n\tCollaborate with law enforcement and community stakeholders to support conservation efforts and emergency services.
\n\tImplement and enforce environmental and land conservation bylaws and legislation.
\n\tSupport conservation management activities by gathering information and maintaining ecological data.
\n\tEnsure adherence to Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards for a safe and healthy work environment.
\n\tMaintain comprehensive records of wildlife surveys, erosion monitoring, and visitor activities for management analysis.
\n\tFoster an understanding of the natural environment by interacting with visitors and promoting conservation awareness.
\n\tRespond promptly to safety incidents and operational needs with agility and efficiency.
