\n\tThe successful\u00a0candidate will\u00a0be responsible to\u00a0support the team leader in overseeing\u00a0the graphics department and create visual concepts, using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers.
\n\tDevelop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines and publications, corporate reports and other marketing initiatives internally and externally.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure that there is compliance with all policies and procedures and strict adherence to internal controls.\u00a0 Ensure daily, weekly and monthly reporting is done accurately and timeously and contains appropriate content to enable effective decision making.
\n\tEnsure that purchase orders are approved, accurate and completely created. Ensure achievement of company\u2019s strategic objectives, goal plans and targets<\/p>\n

\tGeneral design work (posters, flyers, merchandise and other marketing material).
\n\tDetermine the message the design should portray and work closely with the marketing function of the customer.
\n\tCreate images in line with the marketing strategy and brand strategy, aligned to internal company design preferences for customer accounts.
\n\tDisplay a range of creative design techniques to materialise the concept and design required.
\n\tPlans concept by studying information and materials to ensure all information is included.
\n\tLiaise with the printers in terms of artwork and colors, layout, quality, paper etc.
\n\tApprove the print run executed by the printers against the initially approved artwork.
\n\tAchieve deadlines and working as quick and efficiently as possible.
\n\tUpdating adverts on the website and betting displays.
\n\tLiaising with branch team leaders and managers with regards to any design work requested for their branch at customers.
\n\tPhotocopying and deep etching pictures in photoshop.
\n\tDesigning signage for customers.
\n\tSignage application.
\n\tOverseeing general design work.
\n\tReview designs for errors before printing and publishing them.
\n\tIllustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
\n\tObtain approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval by the customer.
\n\tPrepare finished copy and prepare final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
\n\tComplete projects by coordinating with printing and publishing.
\n\tAnticipate the type of design required based on past experience and feedback.<\/p>\n
