We are hiring!\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tWe\u2019re on the lookout for an experienced\u202f\u00a0Electrician\u00a0to\u00a0provide electrical services with specific responsibility for identifying repair and\/or replacement needs; installing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading electrical systems and equipment and ensuring that tools and materials are available at the job site.<\/p>\n
As an\u00a0Electrician, you will be responsible for:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tInstalls, tests, connects, commissions, maintains and modifies electrical equipment, wiring and control systems.
\n\tResponds to emergency situations during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
\n\tEnsure optimum plant availability by efficient diagnosis, repair and maintenance of all electrical systems and equipment.
\n\tCoordinates with assigned Foreman and\/or other trades for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently.
\n\tPerforms other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
\n\tPrepares written materials (e.g. repair status, activity logs, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities and\/or conveying information.
\n\tInspects electrical systems and their components for the purpose of evaluating conditions, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventive maintenance.
\n\tOverhaul AC and DC motors and perform series of tests on each motor to determine the condition of the motor windings, insulation and core lamination during this process.<\/p>\n
What are we looking for?\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMatric and\/or N2 (4 subjects)
\n\tN3 Advantageous
\n\tElectrical Trade test Certificate
\n\t5 Years post apprentice experience (preferable)
\n\tMust have electrical fault-finding experience in an industrial environment<\/p>\n
