\tGrow sales through constant Customer interaction; costing of building plans and issuing Customers with accurate quotations. Ensuring that all housekeeping and merchandising standards are maintained at all times. Ensuring a cost effective and efficient delivery service.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 plus 5 (five) years related experience or a minimum of 10 (ten) years\u2019 work related experience
\n\tPlan reading experience would be advantageous
\n\tAbility to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken in the geographical area where the position is available.
\n\tAbove average numeric skills
\n\tProven ability to provide exceptional Customer Service
\n\tProven ability to work under pressure
\n\tMust be computer literate
\n\tProven strong organising, planning and delegation skills<\/p>\n
Key Performance Area:\ufeff
\nSales<\/p>\n
\tIssuing and follow up of quotations in order to generate sales
\n\tQuote process and control Special Orders
\n\tReading of building plans and ensuring quotations are correct and within the agreed timeframe
\n\tManage the telephone, answer, and return calls, ensure follow ups are done
\n\tConduct competitor analysis to ensure competitiveness of the store
\n\tCommunicate bulk deposit transfers to Customers
\n\tPromote loyalty programs (VIC and Charge Card Customers)<\/p>\n
Deliveries<\/p>\n
\tManage an efficient delivery service and ensuring that the correct rates are charged
\n\tDeliveries dispatched within the required time limit
\n\tDelayed deliveries communicated with Customer and appropriate arrangements made and agreed to with the Customer<\/p>\n
Customer Service<\/p>\n
\tEffective Customer Service Desk Management
\n\tRecord, follow up and resolve Customer Complaints
\n\tTo ensure an efficient Customer Service at all times (all Customers are attended to)
\n\tTelephone etiquette (to ensure that all calls are answered within the required time)<\/p>\n
Store Standards<\/p>\n
\tEffective management of the Ready for Business Checklists and processes with regards to area of responsibility and those of the General Assistant, Sales Advisors and Forklift Drivers.
\n\tPrice changes to be implemented in line with advertised prices.
\n\tImplementation of planograms<\/p>\n
People Management<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that all General Assistants, Sales Advisors and Forklift Drivers are present and available in their area of responsibility in order to assist Customers and perform all their responsibilities
\n\tEnsure General Assistants, Sales Advisors and Forklift Drivers have a trained backup available.
\n\tEnsure General Assistants, Sales Advisors and forklift Drivers execute their daily duties (Ready for Business and Beyond my Control)<\/p>\n
Safety (OHSA) Requirements<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that safety standards are adhered to
\n\tEnsure Employees under control of Sales Coordinator wear correct protective clothing and safe use of equipment.<\/p>\n

\tBe aware of any suspicious people and \/ or activities in and outside the Store.
