Key Purpose<\/p>\n
\tThe Business Analyst acts as a critical bridge between healthcare business vision and technical execution. Your primary mission is to translate high-level business needs into granular, actionable requirements to ensure the implementation team has a clear roadmap for development.
\n\tBeyond documentation, you will provide end-to-end support throughout the project lifecycle. This includes overseeing the Release Management process, conducting rigorous post-release monitoring, and playing a lead role in End-to-End (E2E) Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to secure final business sign-off.<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tRequirements Elicitation: Assist in planning and facilitating requirements workshops (JAD sessions) with healthcare stakeholders to capture “as-is” and “to-be” processes.
\n\tDocumentation Excellence: Produce high-quality Business Requirement Specifications (BRS) and Functional Specifications (FRS) that clearly define project objectives and user needs.
\n\tVisual Modeling: Utilize UML diagrams (such as Use Case, Activity, and Sequence diagrams) to visualize system behavior and business workflows.
\n\tStakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison to resolve requirement conflicts and ensure alignment between clinical users and the engineering team.
\n\tRisk & Issue Management: Proactively identify and document project risks, assumptions, and dependencies that could impact software delivery.
\n\tQuality & Testing: Support the QA process by performing System Integration Testing (SIT) and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets business goals.\u00a0
\n\tContinuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization within the healthcare digital ecosystem.<\/p>\n

Education and Experience\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDegree: BCom or BSc in Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related 3-year IT qualification.
\n\tExperience: Minimum of 3+ years in a functional Business Analyst role, within a software development environment.<\/p>\n
Technical Proficiency<\/p>\n
\tData & Messaging: Working knowledge of SQL for data querying, along with JSON and XML for data interchange.
\n\tAPI & Documentation Tools: Proficiency with industry-standard tools including:
\n\tTesting\/Exploration: Postman, SOAP UI, or Swagger.
\n\tModelling & Documentation: Enterprise Architect, Confluence, and JIRA.
\n\tTechnical Writing: Proven ability to draft comprehensive technical and architectural specifications (e.g., API mappings, data dictionaries).<\/p>\n
SDLC & Methodology<\/p>\n
\tFrameworks: Practical exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum\/Kanban).
\n\tSystems Knowledge: A solid grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including:
\n\tFundamental database structure design.
\n\tTechnical change control processes.
\n\tUnit testing principles and quality assurance.<\/p>\n
