PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION:<\/p>\n
\tTo manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently, on the POS system.
\n\tReceiving payments and issuing receipts, gift-wrapping packages, and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions.
\n\tEnsure all sale and refund transactions run smoothly and will help maximize customer satisfaction.
\n\tTo ensure all House Of Retail policies, rules and procedures are adhered to at POS.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tManage transactions with customers using cash registers.\u00a0
\n\tScan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
\n\tCollect payments whether in cash or credit and promote PJN as an option of payment
\n\tIssue receipts, refunds, change or tickets.
\n\tRedeem coupons and vouchers.\u00a0
\n\tCross-sell products and introduce new ones.
\n\tSell add-ons to customers to increase UPT.
\n\tResolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information.
\n\tGreet customers when entering or leaving the store.
\n\tMaintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
\n\tTrack transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.
\n\tBag packages.
\n\tHandle merchandise returns and exchanges
\n\tEnsure all till documents signed and filed accordingly
\n\tDriving CRM and NPS as a last point for customer contact in store.
\n\tFamiliarize yourself with the digital dashboard to have better understanding of performance and tracking
\n\tSales responsibilities.
\n\tReplenishment of sales floor.
\n\tHousekeeping.<\/p>\n
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:<\/p>\n
\tCustomers, Peers, POS supervisor, Store Manager and Deputy Manager.<\/p>\n
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tBasic PC knowledge.
\n\tFamiliarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS.
\n\tStrong numeracy skills.
\n\tAttention to detail.
\n\tStrong communication and time management skills.
\n\tCustomer satisfaction oriented.<\/p>\n
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:<\/p>\n
\t2-4 years work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role in sales of years of retail experience
\n\tMatric certificate<\/p>\n
