\tContribute towards the development, implementation and monitoring of the OBP Organisational strategy and objectives.
\n\tDevelop, implement and monitor an Operations strategy for the division that is directly aligned with the organisational strategic objectives.
\n\tCreate, communicate and implement a business plan that will enable the achievement of the divisional strategy.
\n\tDevelop, implement, monitor and review OBP divisional policies and procedures as required to ensure alignment.
\n\tDevelop a Risk Management strategy in support of the strategic objectives of OBP.
\n\tDevelop, implement and maintain all Risk departmental policies, standards and procedures.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tDevelop systems to monitor and validate the risk control measures.
\n\tDevelop a fit-for-purpose risk management system for reviewing risk triggers.
\n\tSupport the establishment of the Risk Steering Committee and support the chairperson to manage the effectiveness of the Risk Steering Committee.
\n\tEnsure that a Risk Information Management system (RIMS) is implemented and fully utilized to enhance and automate risk management activities within OBP.
\n\tDrive and oversee the maintenance of risk registers in conjunction with relevant role players.
\n\tEnsure risk identification and assessment throughout the organisation in line with the approved framework.
\n\tEstablish and report the risk impact on cost and company image.
\n\tEnsure integration of risk management within OBP as a requirement to comply with the ISO 9001:2015 and GMP quality standard.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tAdvise and contribute towards the mitigation of the overall risk profile of OBP.
\n\tManage the departmental risk register and ensure mitigation strategies are implemented as per risk action plan.
\n\tLead the mitigation of the division\u2019s risk profile through timeous identification of internal and external factors, the application of fraud controls and risk prevention principles, and implementing of sound governance and compliance processes and tools to identify and manage risks.
\n\tLead the implementation of strategic targets, performance management, and the required cascading of performance objectives in order to drive operational success.
\n\tResponsible for the overall leadership, direction and development of all staff within the division.
\n\tOversee the division\u2019s relevant departmental budgets to ensure alignment to the organisation\u2019s revenue and efficiency objectives.<\/p>\n
Minimum requirements<\/p>\n
\tPostgraduate (Honours) qualification in Risk Management or a related field. NQF 8.\u00a0Certification with a professional body e.g. IRMSA, PECB, is required
\n\tAt least 7 years\u2019 relevant experience, as well as 3 years managerial experience within a Risk Management environment.
\n\tRelevant experience within the Process Manufacturing e.g. Pharmaceutical, FMCG environments will be an added advantage.
\n\tAn in-depth knowledge and understanding of Quality Management Systems like ISO and GMP.<\/p>\n
