Execution of Training and Assessments<\/p>\n
\tFacilitate and provide support of identified learning interventions
\n\tNumber of learners that complete the required \u00a0training programmes
\n\tLearner achievements recorded and input provided to training system and report
\n\tImplement and monitor learner rating systems.
\n\tLiaise with management around learners performance
\n\tCustomer requirements met \u00a0in specific training interventions at regional centres\/branches
\n\tPlan and schedule learning interventions both technical and behavioural to meet region needs with focus on core skills identified<\/p>\n
Training Provider Accreditation Maintained<\/p>\n
\tCompliance to SASSETA\/ TETA \u00a0requirements
\n\tTraining provider accreditation status maintained
\n\tLearner achievement reports maintained
\n\tAssessment and moderation reports submitted
\n\tSkills programmes certified
\n\tSubmit annual audits as per SETA\/PSIRA requirements
\n\tImplement actions to ensure accreditation of the Training Centres<\/p>\n
Maintain Proper Record Keeping\/Admin<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that expense mandates follow audit procedures
\n\tEnsure an effective Training Administrative Service
\n\t\u00a0Assess competency against learning outcomes of operational employees and provide proof of assessments
\n\tSubmission of weekly training reports<\/p>\n
Health and Safety<\/p>\n
\tParticipate in the design\/ development\/ review\/ implementation and monitoring of the departmental safety plans for each year.
\n\tParticipate in safety forums created by the company for example safety meetings and safety talks
\n\tReport all safety incidents to the relevant people
\n\tDiscuss all safety incidents
\n\tFollow-up on any activities assigned through safety meeting\/committee\/representative\/management
\n\tAttend safety education and refresher programs
\n\tComply with safety policies and procedures at the workplace
\n\tDistribute safety information as and when required
\n\tWear protective clothing all the time<\/p>\n
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
Qualification and Experience<\/p>\n
\t3 Years working experience in Psira\/Sasseta training environment
\n\t3 years relevant operational experience (CIT\/Armed Response\/Security would be highly recommended)
\n\tDiploma in ODETDP Level 5
\n\tSound understanding of relevant statistical information and the reporting thereof
\n\tPrevious experience in the planning, facilitation monitor and control of technical and behavioural learning interventions
\n\tPreference code EC (10) Valid driver\u2019s License
\n\tValid Firearm Competency Certificate
\n\tPSIRA Instructor Grade A essential
\n\tFirearm Instructor and Range Officer essential
\n\tA good understanding of relevant national qualifications and unit standards will be beneficial, but not essential<\/p>\n
