Communications (Operational Level)<\/p>\n<p>Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<br \/>\nOperational Management\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tContribute towards the development of an operations strategy for the Division and ensure alignment of this strategy with the plan for the Marketing and Communications unit overall.<br \/>\n\tEnsure productivity and efficiency is measured effectively against set objectives.<br \/>\n\tManage and ensure the drive of continuous improvement activities.<br \/>\n\tManage the business unit and ensure that it contributes to the achievement of business objectives<br \/>\n\tManage operations effectively to deliver services within timelines and prescribed quality through effective resource management<br \/>\n\tUse insights gained through business information to compile reports, and metrics to measure success and inform the business decisions within area of responsibility<\/p>\n<p>Functional Management<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop, plan and execute digital marketing, including social media utilisation plans to enable the SABS brand image and positioning within the social sphere.<br \/>\n\tDevelopand implement plans to address internal stakeholder communication requirements and lobbying stakeholder\u2019s support of marketing initiatives.<br \/>\n\tOversee drafting and delivery of key messages for internal communications and events to strengthen the corporate reputation among all audiences and stakeholders.<br \/>\n\tMaintain and enhance the SABS brand image by managing all internal corporate communications and ensuring consistency with the company\u2019s vision, mission, goals and values.<br \/>\n\tDevelop,define and implement the high-level Marketing &amp; Communications business architecture requirements to facilitate execution of the SABS strategy.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and implement operational plans for the progressive digitisation and\/or automation of Marketing &amp; Communications processes, where relevant.<br \/>\n\tReview, develop and implement the SABS integrated Marketing &amp; Communications strategy, policies, procedures, frameworks and plans, based on the market environment &amp; business needs.<br \/>\n\tManage all corporate communication and brand management<br \/>\n\tManage the publication of corporate documentation, brand building, development and advocacy material<br \/>\n\tManage all proof reading, quality assurance, design, layout, printing, uploading and distribution of all corporate content, website content, hard copy material and programme related material (such as the annual\/integrated report, corporate\/business plan, etc.).<br \/>\n\tManage the final approval process for all mass printing\/publishing of corporate and programme material.<br \/>\n\tOversee electronic publication on the website, including decommissioning of the material.<br \/>\n\tManage the design process of the look and feel of the website and intranet.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and be accountable for the use of the SABS corporate logo, brochure and templates (e.g. letterhead, memo, etc.) and ensure protection thereof where necessary.<br \/>\n\tOversee the development of workflow processes and procedures to enhance the customer brand experience<br \/>\n\tDevelop cost-effective processes and procedures<br \/>\n\tOversee the development and implementation of tools to measure brand \/ corporate identity views, perceptions and suggestions.<br \/>\n\tEnsure effective and on-time reporting of Marketing and Communications performance and improvement, where required.<\/p>\n<p>Risk and Compliance Management\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure the mitigation of the business units\u2019 risk profile through the application of fraud controls and risk prevention principles and implementing of sound governance and compliance processes and tools to identify and manage risks.<br \/>\n\tResponsible for the coordination and maintenance of quality risk management in line with regulatory requirements.<br \/>\n\tMonitor changes in the regulatory environment and ensure that appropriate operational controls are implemented to address new requirements.<br \/>\n\tSupport and provide evidence to all internal and external audit, Accreditation and regulatory requirements.<br \/>\n\tOversee the maintenance and enforcement of related Service Level Agreements to minimise business risk and ensure business continuity.<br \/>\n\tEnsure adherence in the team to all relevant laws, policies and Standard Operating Procedures throughout the organisation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Financial Management<\/p>\n<p>\tProvide input in the planning and compilation of the annual budget aligned to the tactical delivery plans to support the implementation of set objectives.<br \/>\n\tEnsure the effective implementation, management, monitoring of the budget, and mitigate and report on any variances.<\/p>\n<p>People Management<\/p>\n<p>\tProactively manage all direct reports in order to ensure that the strategic objectives for the division is met.<br \/>\n\tMaintain excellent human capital performance through employee empowerment, skills development and retention and succession planning within the team.<br \/>\n\tMaintain an environment where employees respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all processes, procedures and<br \/>\n\tManage and lead Marketing &amp; Communication by providing clarity of vision; prioritising resources; facilitating alignment of the team; managing non-performance, driving a customer-centric performance culture, setting appropriate KPA\u2019s and ensure the cascading thereof throughout Marketing &amp; Communication and driving their achievement; inspiring commitment; encouraging mutual support; and enabling development opportunities<br \/>\n\tImplement a learning culture within scope of control.<br \/>\n\tDrive performance management in line with the SABS policy within the team, and address performance challenges and develop subordinates to meet the expected performance standards.<br \/>\n\tBe the change champion for all Marketing &amp; Communication change, culture and diversity projects and programmes<br \/>\n\tRecruit and retain key talent and other critically skilled personnel to manage internal processes and oversee the tactical, daily analytical work of the team.<\/p>\n<p>Stakeholder Management\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tIdentify and mitigate internal systems and procedural barriers to enhance excellent customer service.<br \/>\n\tBuild and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships for the purpose of expectations management, knowledge sharing and integration, and to manage the organisation\u2019s reputation.<br \/>\n\tRepresent and participate in the organisation\u2019s committees and tasks teams when required.<br \/>\n\tHost high profile Marketing &amp; Communications information sharing sessions to promote the business unit\u2019s suite of services<br \/>\n\tConvene and attend meetings and present performance and business related information to relevant stakeholders when required.<br \/>\n\tLiaise and build relationships with SABS clients and service providers so as to ensure that the service standards are met appropriately.<br \/>\n\tManage and resolve operational complaints through timeous resolution and\/or escalation as required<br \/>\n\tProvide technical support and advocacy on Marketing &amp;
