Role Description<\/p>\n
Routine Maintenance & Repairs:<\/p>\n
\tConduct inspections and perform repairs to store infrastructure and equipment.
\n\tDiagnose faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality.
\n\tInstall or replace components as needed to maintain operational standards.
\n\tTest and verify equipment performance following maintenance activities.
\n\tIdentify recurring issues and recommend long-term corrective actions.<\/p>\n
Preventive Maintenance:<\/p>\n
\tExecute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks across all relevant equipment and infrastructure.
\n\tMaintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and parts of usage.
\n\tMonitor performance trends to anticipate potential failures.
\n\tProactively replace worn or damaged parts to prevent breakdowns.
\n\tEnsure adherence to maintenance guidelines and standards.<\/p>\n
Emergency Response:<\/p>\n
\tRespond promptly to maintenance-related emergencies to minimize operational disruptions.
\n\tEscalate complex issues to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
\n\tApply temporary solutions when necessary to maintain continuity of operations.
\n\tCommunicate effectively with relevant stakeholders during emergency situations.
\n\tDocument emergency interventions for future reference and analysis.<\/p>\n
General Maintenance Support:<\/p>\n
\tAssist with a variety of general maintenance tasks across the facility.
\n\tSupport layout changes by relocating or installing equipment and fixtures.
\n\tPerform minor building repairs and upkeep activities.
\n\tCollaborate with team members to ensure overall facility maintenance.
\n\tProvide guidance and support to junior team members when required.<\/p>\n
Inventory & Tool Management:<\/p>\n
\tMaintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools to support scheduled and emergency tasks.
\n\tEnsure proper handling, storage, and upkeep of tools and equipment.
\n\tMonitor usage of spare parts and initiate restocking when necessary.
\n\tVerify functionality and safety of tools prior to use.
\n\tImplement systems to ensure accountability and prevent loss or damage.<\/p>\n
Safety Compliance:<\/p>\n
\tAdhere to all safety regulations and protocols during maintenance activities.
\n\tUse appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and promote a safety-conscious work environment.
\n\tConduct safety checks on equipment before and after maintenance.
\n\tReport hazards and unsafe conditions promptly to management.
\n\tParticipate in regular safety training and drills.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tTrade certification in relevant field – (essential).
\n\tSolid understanding of relevant maintenance systems – (essential).
\n\tBasic knowledge of other maintenance disciplines (electrical, HVAC, etc.) – essential.<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\t2 years\u2019 experience in maintenance within an industrial manufacturing environment – (essential).<\/p>\n
