Job Description:<\/p>\n
\tThe receipting clerk is responsible for accurately processing, recording, and maintaining financial transactions and receipts for the organization. This includes receiving payments, issuing receipts, and ensuring that all receipts are properly recorded and stored in compliance with company policies and procedures. The receipting clerk must have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tReceive and process payments from customers, vendors, and other sources
\n\tIssue receipts for all payments received
\n\tEnter payment information into the company\u2019s financial system
\n\tReconcile receipts with financial records to ensure accuracy
\n\tMaintain organized and accurate records of all receipts and payments
\n\tAssist with financial reporting and auditing as needed
\n\tRespond to inquiries and provide assistance to customers regarding payment receipts<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tMatric \/ Finance qualification
\n\tPrevious experience in a clerical or accounting role preferred
\n\tStrong attention to detail and accuracy
\n\tProficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
\n\tExcellent organizational and time management skills
\n\tAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
\n\tStrong written and verbal communication skills
\n\tAbility to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information<\/p>\n
