\tThe Senior BC\/DR Analyst is responsible for coordinating, maintaining, and continuously improving DigiCert\u2019s enterprise Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Resiliency program.
\n\tThis role acts as the central governance and program coordination owner for BC\/DR across DigiCert, ensuring that business continuity plans, disaster recovery exercises, business impact analyses, testing reports, and remediation activities are consistently executed, documented, and aligned with industry standards such as ISO\/IEC 27001, WebTrust, ETSI, NIST, and CA\/B Forum requirements.
\n\tThe role operates as a first-line governance function, working closely with DigiCert\u2019s technology, infrastructure, security, and business teams who retain operational ownership of systems and recovery execution.<\/p>\n
What you will do<\/p>\n
Business Continuity Program Ownership<\/p>\n
\tOwn and maintain DigiCert\u2019s enterprise Business Continuity Plan (BCP), ensuring it is current, approved, and consistently applied across the organization.
\n\tCoordinate periodic reviews and updates of the BCP to reflect organizational, system, or risk changes.
\n\tEnsure BCP scope includes all relevant DigiCert entities, services, and supporting functions.<\/p>\n
Business Impact Analysis (BIA)<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate and manage Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) across DigiCert\u2019s critical business processes and systems.
\n\tPartner with business owners and technology teams to:
\n\tidentify critical processes and dependencies
\n\tdocument Recovery Time Objectives (RTO), Recovery Point Objectives (RPO), and Maximum Tolerable Downtime (MTD)
\n\tEnsure BIAs are reviewed regularly and approved by appropriate management stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Disaster Recovery & Resiliency Oversight<\/p>\n
\tMaintain governance oversight of disaster recovery plans owned by DigiCert\u2019s Infrastructure, Cloud and Engineering teams.
\n\tEnsure alignment between DR plans and business continuity objectives.
\n\tTrack and report gaps between defined recovery objectives and test results.<\/p>\n
Testing & Exercising<\/p>\n
Develop and maintain a BCP\/DR testing and exercise framework, including:<\/p>\n
\ttabletop exercises
\n\tbusiness continuity simulations
\n\tcoordination with technical disaster recovery tests
\n\tMaintain an approved test schedule and ensure exercises are performed, documented, and reviewed.
\n\tCapture lessons learned and track remediation actions to completion.<\/p>\n
Audit, Assurance & Remediation Coordination<\/p>\n
Serve as the primary BCP\/DR governance point of contact for:<\/p>\n
\tinternal audits (without performing audit activities)
\n\texternal auditors and assessors
\n\tcustomer assurance inquiries
\n\tCoordinate remediation of BCP\/DR-related findings and recommendations.
\n\tEnsure audit evidence and documentation are maintained and readily available.<\/p>\n
Policy, Awareness & Enablement<\/p>\n
\tSupport Governance-owned policies related to business continuity and resiliency.
\n\tPartner with training and communications teams to support awareness of BCP\/DR roles, responsibilities, and activation procedures.
\n\tAssist in maintaining reference materials and guidance for continuity planning and exercises.<\/p>\n
Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement<\/p>\n
\tProvide regular reporting on BCP\/DR maturity, testing outcomes, risks, and remediation status to GRC leadership, Trust Office leadership and the CTRO.
\n\tAct as a coordination point between Governance, Infrastructure, Engineering, Security, Legal, People Ops, and Business leaders.<\/p>\n
What you will have<\/p>\n
4+ years of experience in:<\/p>\n
\tBusiness continuity
\n\tDisaster recovery
\n\tOperational resilience
\n\tRisk, Governance, or Compliance-related roles<\/p>\n
Solid understanding of:<\/p>\n
\tBCP\/DR frameworks and lifecycle management
\n\tBusiness Impact Analysis methodologies
\n\tRTO (Recovery Time Objective), RPO (Recovery Point Objective), and MTD (Maximum Tolerable Downtime) concepts
\n\tExperience coordinating cross-functional initiatives with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
\n\tStrong documentation, organization, and follow-up skills.
\n\tComfortable operating in a regulated and audit-sensitive environment.<\/p>\n
Nice to have<\/p>\n
\tExperience with ISO\/IEC 27001 or similar standards.
\n\tExposure to internal or external audit processes.
\n\tFamiliarity with SaaS, cloud, or highly available technology environments.
\n\tExperience planning or supporting continuity or resilience exercises.
\n\tStrong organizational and program management skills
\n\tConfidence engaging with senior technical stakeholders
\n\tComfort operating with partial information and driving clarity
