We are recruiting a Financial Controller to support the finance function for our EATFRESH operations. This role is responsible for accurate accounting, monthly reconciliations, stock and cost monitoring, and providing clear financial reporting to support operational performance in line with Tsebo policies and South African financial regulations. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMaintain the general ledger and process accurate journal entries
\n\tPerform monthly balance sheet and control account reconciliations
\n\tPrepare financial and variance reports for sites and operations
\n\tMonitor debtors, creditors and stock to strengthen working-capital control
\n\tValidate stock counts and highlight risks relating to aged or slow-moving stock
\n\tSupport budgeting, forecasting and month-end processes
\n\tAssist with year-end audit preparation and compliance with internal controls
\n\tRecommend process improvements and enhanced ERP\/reporting efficiency
\n\tProvide financial support and guidance to unit administrators and operations teams<\/p>\n
Skills and Competencies\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tStrong understanding of working capital (inventory, debtors, creditors)
\n\tAccurate general-ledger posting, reconciliations and cost analysis
\n\tAbility to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial teams
\n\tHigh attention to detail and strong analytical ability
\n\tCan work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
\n\tProactive, service-oriented and collaborative
\n\tAble to work independently, manage priorities and problem-solve effectively
\n\tAdaptable, willing to learn and committed to continuous improvement<\/p>\n
Qualifications\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s Degree or National Diploma in Accounting\/Finance
\n\t2\u20135 years\u2019 experience in financial accounting
\n\tExperience in audit\/assurance, management accounting, or a service-oriented financial environment (advantageous)
\n\tStrong Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs; Power Query\/macros advantageous)
\n\tKnowledge of IFRS and month-end\/year-end processes<\/p>\n
