\tUndertaking planning, scheduling and reporting of maintenance functions for a variety of equipment throughout the plant.
\n\tPlanning work and preparing work packages for scheduling
\n\tPreparing weekly maintenance work schedules for equipment in your area, ensuring the appropriate preparation, availability and allocation of material and equipment resources to achieve planned outcomes.
\n\tWorking with the Maintenance Coordinators to ensure the best use of the artisan’s and technician\u2019s skills in weekly maintenance schedules.
\n\tReviewing condition monitoring reports and creating corrective action work.
\n\tMonitoring and providing feedback on cost performance as well as assisting with the preparation of maintenance budgets.
\n\tIdentifying improvement opportunities and implementing planning process changes along with analysing maintenance history data on equipment performance to ensure that the appropriate maintenance frequencies and practices are in place.
\n\tMaintaining the Computerised Maintenance Management System (Maximo) to ensure ongoing effectiveness as well as interrogating the Maximo database for equipment history in order to ensure data accuracy and identify improvement opportunities.
\n\tDeveloping and maintaining effective networks through collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, customers and suppliers.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
The core requirements and competencies for this position include:<\/p>\n
\tN6 Engineering\/Technical qualification or equivalent (preferably Mechanical or Electrical).
\n\tA recognised apprenticeship and trade test.
\n\tAt least 5 years\u2019 maintenance experience in a large manufacturing environment.
\n\tPlanning experience would be an added advantage.
\n\tUnderstanding and exposure to our Computerised Maintenance Management System (Maximo).
\n\tMS Project Skills would be an added advantage.
\n\tHighly motivated with a passion for planning,
\n\tThe ability to work in a manufacturing team and to interface with all team members.
\n\tUnderstanding of Purchasing practices and order placement.
\n\tGood organisational skills and logical thinking and attention to detail.
\n\tGood communication and visualisation skills.<\/p>\n
