SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO :<\/p>\n
\tSupport the Process Foreman with the management of the Smelter airlock and ensure adherence accordance to safety, security and radiation requirements.
\n\tEnsure that the Arc furnace charges are correctly fluxed and blended and delivered to the Arc furnace at the correct specification as per the charge design to mitigate the risk of the Arc furnace running out of feed materials.
\n\tBe accountable for the performance of the blending team and all bag, ITM pre and post sampling management.
\n\tResponsible to ensure that the SHEQ policy, risk, quality and housekeeping standards are always adhered to.\u00a0 This will require that all risks within the Primary circuit operations is mitigated to meet performance targets.
\n\tAll protocols are followed to eliminate metal inefficiencies and risks downstream of the process.\u00a0 Metal accounting, stock verifications, labelling, materials stored in correct SLOCs and ensuring that all stock is controlled to minimise metal losses and taking part in monthly, quarterly and annual stock takes.
\n\tEnsure that fluxes are blended to the accuracy of the blending recipes.
\n\tEnsure calibration of belt weighers, weightometers and load cells. Silo levels and spillages are to be accounted for.
\n\tResponsible for reporting of non-conformances.
\n\tPeople management in line with the HR and SHEQ policies.
\n\tAccountable for the housekeeping, consumable, waste and airlock management and movement in and out of Smelter.
\n\tSupports the safe management of Smelter rubble, waste and incineration of bulk waste from Smelter.\u00a0
\n\tThe Dayshift Supervisor will work normal business hours but might be required to assist with the shift operations when required.<\/p>\n

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tCompleted Matric qualification.
\n\tA diploma in Chemical or\u00a0 Metallurgical qualification or related qualification.
\n\tMust have completed supervisory training.
\n\tMinimum of 6 -8 years working experience in production and\/or smelting operations.<\/p>\n
