\tRCL FOODS is seeking Millwrights to join our Foods Division. The role will be based in Tzaneen and report to the Maintenance Manager. The The purpose of the role is to be responsible for ensuring that Plant Maintenance is done effectively and accurately in such a way to ensure the minimum downtime.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tN3 Mechanical\/Electrical Engineering plus trade test
\n\tMinimum 5 – 10 years production line or FMCG maintenance experience
\n\tPLC\/VSD Drives experience \u00a0<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tPerform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the machines do not deteriorate.
\n\tInspect drives, motors, belts, bearings, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions following checklists.
\n\tBe able to comply with Food safety standards, and previous FMCG experience will be an advantage
\n\tAssemble, install and \/ or repair, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment on steam and waterlines
\n\tEnsure that your department complies with all Health and Safety requirements.
\n\tRecord maintenance and repair work performed.
\n\tClean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
\n\tProjects and machine installations
\n\tAccurate completion of administrative forms
\n\tLeading by example with the team of assistants as per shift requirement.
\n\tEnsure statutory inspections relevant to you are kept up to date.<\/p>\n
