Primary Purpose of the job:<\/p>\n
To supervise the functioning of Collections Teams to achieve the following objectives<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0Procurement of blood as per agreed targets.
\n\t\u00a0Correct treatment of donors and patients.
\n\t\u00a0Performing complex therapeutic procedures according to patient needs.
\n\t\u00a0Compliance to policies, procedures and standards of practice.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tSupervise the collections team to achieve collection targets and maintain all quality standards, for all procedures performed at the site.
\n\tEnsure excellent customer service.
\n\tEnsure quality and risk management for area of responsibility.
\n\tPeople managed to achieve operational objectives.
\n\tBusiness planning and financial management<\/p>\n

Minimum requirements<\/p>\n
\tRegistered Professional Nurse (RPN).
\n\t1 Year Blood Transfusion experience
\n\tCurrent registration with SANC.
\n\tComputer Literacy (Microsoft Office)
\n\tCurrent CPR Certificate to be renewed as required.
\n\tIncumbent may be required to drive a company vehicle from time to time as per operational requirements.
\n\tCurrent valid code 8 or 10 drivers license
\n\tMust be prepared to work overtime, weekends and variable hours within the prescribed limits and conditions.
\n\tThe incumbent will be required to be on his\/her feet for a lengthy period, to carry loads of up to 14kg and assist with loading and off-loading vehicles and able to climb stairs.<\/p>\n
