Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Project Planning and Execution<\/p>\n
\tPlan and structure projects according to scope, budget, and timelines.
\n\tDevelop clear work schedules and ensure each phase is completed on time.
\n\tMonitor daily project progress and implement corrective actions where necessary.<\/p>\n
Team Management and Site Control<\/p>\n
\tLead and manage multiple technical teams across different sites.
\n\tAllocate tasks according to skill levels and project requirements.
\n\tMonitor productivity, workmanship standards, and discipline on site.
\n\tEnsure work is completed according to specifications and quality standards.<\/p>\n
Resource and Logistics Management<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate materials, equipment, and labor for optimal workflow.
\n\tEnsure timely ordering and availability of materials to prevent delays.
\n\tControl resource usage to limit waste and unnecessary costs.<\/p>\n
Financial and Administrative Control<\/p>\n
\tMonitor project expenses against budget and report deviations.
\n\tMaintain accurate project documentation and prepare regular progress reports.
\n\tAssist with quotations, variations, and final project reconciliations.<\/p>\n
Client and Stakeholder Management<\/p>\n
\tAct as the primary contact between clients, contractors, and internal management.
\n\tCommunicate progress, challenges, and changes professionally and timeously.
\n\tEnsure successful project handover and client satisfaction.<\/p>\n
Safety and Compliance<\/p>\n
\tMaintain safe working practices across all sites.
\n\tEnsure compliance with applicable plumbing and safety regulations and internal procedures.
\n\tProactively identify risks and implement preventative measures.<\/p>\n
Job Requirements:<\/p>\n
\t5 \u2013 10 years\u2019 experience in the plumbing, gas installations, or construction industry.
\n\tQualification in Project Management.
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license and own reliable transport.
\n\tProven project management experience within a technical environment.
\n\tStrong experience managing technical teams on site.
\n\tStrong administrative and reporting skills.
\n\tAbility to deliver projects on time and within budget.
\n\tAdvanced Excel.
\n\tExperience in Sage is advantageous.
\n\tStrong understanding of applicable plumbing and safety regulations.
\n\tManagement experience is advantageous.<\/p>\n
