Qualifications and experience required:<\/p>\n
\tA completed Grade 12 qualification is essential
\n\tA tertiary qualification in sales and marketing will be a great advantage
\n\tProven sales experience in the FMCG trade is essential, and experience in the poultry industry will be an added advantage<\/p>\n
Other requirements:<\/p>\n
\tMust have a reliable vehicle with a valid code 8 driver\u2019s license
\n\tComputer literacy at an intermediate to advanced level in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint
\n\tAble to do reporting in MS Excel using pivot tables
\n\tWell spoken in the English and Afrikaans languages,\u00a0 well versed in another official language is a great advantage\u00a0
\n\tExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong customer relations
\n\tDeadline driven, able to multi-task and have strong attention to detail and administration\u00a0skills
\n\tAn understanding of the 20-Keys concept will be a great advantage
\n\tBe a self-starter and able to work independently, yet effective in a team\u00a0environment<\/p>\n
Core responsibilities of the position:<\/p>\n
\tEstablishing strong relationships with all Wholesale, Independent and Catering Customers
\n\tRespond professionally to all inbound sales queries
\n\tConsistently seek new business opportunities
\n\tEffective sales administration
\n\tPromoting and growing the\u00a0company’s brand and range of products\u00a0with new and existing customers
\n\tPrice negotiations in line with the company policies and procedures
\n\tBuild healthy on-shelf displays of all products across all categories\u00a0
\n\tPlan, manage, coordinate and attend trade shows and exhibitions as required
\n\tManage and grow assigned territory
\n\tGather and communicate market intelligence\/adverts to improve the company’s\u00a0insights to develop a\u00a0competitive edge
\n\tCompile weekly Wholesale\/ Independent price surveys
\n\tEnsure good time management and regular customer visits\/calls.\u00a0
\n\tDaily focus on the stock sheet for stock movement\u00a0
\n\tAttending to customer complaints on a daily basis
\n\tRecording and communicating fridge and chiller\u00a0breakdowns in stores, as well as freezer temperature deviations
\n\tManagement of product returns according to the\u00a0 stock\u00a0return policy
\n\tEnsure daily KPI’s and targets are met or exceeded\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
