REQUIREMENTS :<\/p>\n
A relevant tertiary qualification (3 year Diploma\/Degree in a Traffic \/ Management \/ Law field \u2013 NQF 6 or higher); plus A Basic Traffic Officer\u2019s Diploma; plus Registered as a Traffic Officer; plus 3-5 years\u2019 management experience in a Traffic Law Enforcement field; plus 7-10 years\u2019 working experience in a Traffic Law Enforcement field; plus A valid driving licence (minimum code B); plus No criminal record. Knowledge,<\/p>\n
Skills and Competencies Required:<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge on how to manage the implementation of Public Transport and Traffic Law Enforcement policies and regulations. Knowledge of driver fitness inspections.
\n\tKnowledge of vehicle fitness inspections.
\n\tKnowledge on the completion of Law Enforcement documents.
\n\tKnowledge of operator fitness inspections. Knowledge of investigations.
\n\tWorking knowledge of applicable legislations \u2013 Public transport and traffic environment.
\n\tRecords, resource and customer relationship management skills.
\n\tPerformance, finance and conflict management skills. Projects, time and self-management skills.
\n\tRisk, change and public information management skills. Planning, organising and people management skills.
