\tAccount Management:\u00a0Lead and manage multiple financial services accounts with a focus on\u00a0reputation resilience,\u00a0stakeholder trust, and\u00a0media advocacy.
\n\tMedia Writing: Translate complex financial and regulatory topics into\u00a0compelling, accessible narratives\u00a0for diverse audiences.
\n\tMedia Engagement:\u00a0Drive\u00a0proactive media engagement,\u00a0thought leadership, and\u00a0issue-based advocacy\u00a0across traditional and digital platforms.
\n\tReport Writing:\u00a0Deliver\u00a0data-informed reporting\u00a0and campaign evaluation using AMEC principles and advanced Excel capabilities (e.g., pivot tables, trend analysis).
\n\tEnsure all content and reporting align with client CI, tone, and format requirements while enabling innovation within brand guardrails.
\n\tRelationship Management & Networking: Build and sustain\u00a0strategic media relationships, particularly in financial, fintech, and policy sectors.
\n\tStakeholder Management:\u00a0Manage and support multiple financial services clients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of scope across all accounts.
\n\tHorizon Scanning:\u00a0Integrate\u00a0digital listening,\u00a0reputation analytics, and\u00a0stakeholder mapping\u00a0into campaign planning and reporting.
\n\tPitching and New Business development: Drive agency growth by developing and delivering high-impact, insight-led pitch presentations that reflect the agency\u2019s strategic and creative capabilities. Pitch proactive story ideas and thought leadership to financial, business, and consumer media.\u00a0 Track progress and keep accurate reports.
\n\tTrack and record coverage and outputs across all client accounts.
\n\tMaintain and update daily, weekly, and monthly status and performance reports.
\n\tEnsure all content and reporting meet client CI, tone, and format requirements.
\n\tSupport campaign planning, execution, and post-campaign reporting.<\/p>\n
Key Requirements<\/p>\n
Knowledge and Experience:<\/p>\n
\t6-8 years\u2019 PR or communications experience (agency or in-house).
\n\tProven ability to plan, execute, and report on PR campaigns.
\n\tDemonstrated success in pitching and securing media coverage.
\n\tExperience in media monitoring, analysis, and evaluation.
\n\tExisting network of relationships with key financial and business journalists.
\n\tProcess-driven, with excellent time management and attention to workflow and delivery.
\n\tProficiency in MS 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and ability to utilise pivot tables in data analysis and media\/tracking
\n\tPersonal mastery and self-leadership \u2013 this role does not have Account Executive support; reporting responsibility is shared within the team.
\n\tMust have financial services experience, ideally in personal finance, employee benefits, and retirement (minimum 3-5 years).<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or English.
\n\tHigh proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
\n\tWriting samples demonstrating an ability to translate complex financial topics into accessible narratives.
\n\tAMEC-approved qualification (preferred).
\n\tA Certificate in Financial Planning will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
