Position overall objective<\/p>\n
\tThe purpose of the position is to manage, monitor and lead branch activities and processes in order to achieve performance targets, goals and operational excellence through compliance and customer service delivery.<\/p>\n
Minimum Experience<\/p>\n
\t(Mid-size – Large branch) 5-8 years\u2019 relevant experience, of which 3-5 years\u2019 business operations management experience.<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualification<\/p>\n
\tQualification in relevant field of study (Diploma or equivalent, NQF5).<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualification<\/p>\n
\tBCom degree or equivalent business degree\/diploma NQF6+.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tComputer literate with an intermediate level of comfort with Excel and Outlook.
\n\tA valid, unendorsed drivers\u2019 license.<\/p>\n
Job Outputs:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop, implement and drive a branch strategy and related improvement plans aligned to the greater Operations strategy.
\n\tRevenue, budget and branch profitability management.
\n\tMonitor the high level revenue, costs, profitability, risk and customer service delivery data and metrics, taking corrective and preventive action where required.
\n\tContinuously monitor actual process turnaround times and quality standards, and resolve issues efficiently to enhance effective customer service delivery.
\n\tBuild sustainable customer relationships to ensure retention of customers and growth.
\n\tImplement and oversee compliance and governance processes and policies to manage risk liability.
\n\tSeeking, maximizing and leveraging business and growth opportunities.
\n\tHandling and effectively resolving customer queries and correspondence.
\n\tManagement of administration, e.g. banking, management reports etc.
\n\tSales
\n\tEnsure that assets are fully utilized at all times.
\n\tManage and reduce overhead costs.
\n\tEffective daily fleet planning.
\n\tEnhance profitability through effective yield management.
\n\tEnsure that all staff follow all applicable policies and procedures.
\n\tCreate an engaging, enabling and productive work climate.
\n\tManagement and development of staff which includes providing guidance and direction to team members; setting performance standards, measuring performance and providing regular feedback; training; employee relations; recruitment etc.<\/p>\n
