MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\tNational Diploma in Records Management\/ Public Administration\/ Office Management or equivalent qualification.
\n\t2-3\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0years’ relevant experience as admin clerk registry or records management environment.
\n\tKnowledge of records management systems and municipal administration.
\n\tComputer literacy (MS Office).
\n\tGood communication and organizational skills.
\n\tKnowledge\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0of\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0applicable\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0legislation\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0governing\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0local\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0government\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0and\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0records management.<\/p>\n
KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS:<\/p>\n
\tPerforms activities\/tasks associated with registering and recording of incoming\/outgoing mail correspondence.
\n\tPerforms specific task\/activities associated with monitoring the circulation and retrieval of documents and correspondences.-
\n\tPerform tasks\/activities associated with the provision of general office support.
\n\tReceiving incoming\/outgoing mail from main Registry and commences with recording sequence in mail registers, inserting dates, details of address etc.
\n\tInserting acknowledgement of receipt on incoming mail, stamping and\u00a0reflecting circulation details.
\n\tSeeking approval and executing sequences to facilitate the archiving and disposal of aged\/obsolete records.
\n\t\u00a0<\/p>\n
