Duties & Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Maintenance & Repairs<\/p>\n
\tPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
\n\tDiagnose faults, replace defective parts, and ensure minimal production downtime.<\/p>\n
Installation & Commissioning<\/p>\n
\tInstall, assemble, and commission new equipment and machinery.
\n\tEnsure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.<\/p>\n
Troubleshooting & Fault-Finding<\/p>\n
\tIdentify and rectify faults in production machinery and electrical systems.
\n\tUse diagnostic tools and technical expertise to implement effective solutions.<\/p>\n
Compliance & Safety<\/p>\n
\tEnsure all maintenance activities comply with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations and company policies.
\n\tConduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to prevent workplace hazards.<\/p>\n
Documentation & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tMaintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and part replacements.
\n\tProvide reports on equipment performance and downtime analysis.<\/p>\n
Continuous Improvement<\/p>\n
\tIdentify and implement strategies to improve machine efficiency and productivity.
\n\tProvide technical expertise for machinery upgrades and operational improvements.
\n\tConduct evaluations of machine technology and propose innovative solutions.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tQualified Millwright (Red Seal \/ Trade Test Certified).
\n\tMinimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role.
\n\tExperience working with high-speed production machinery (advantageous.
\n\tStrong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial environment.
\n\tExperience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation systems.
\n\tKnowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
\n\tProblem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
\n\tEnsuring precision in maintenance and repair work.
\n\tStrong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
\n\tAbility to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.<\/p>\n
