\tManage and authorise purchases and invoices for Passenger Services, Crew and Technical;
\n\tManage costs in respect of delays and missed connections;
\n\tMotivate for any additional contracts relating to purchasing;
\n\t1m lement cost saving initiatives;
\n\tManage external service provider relationships;
\n\tAttend to common interest matters;
\n\tEnsure adherence to company policies and procedures;
\n\tEnsure adherence to relevant legislation (Air\/Ground Safety, Labour);
\n\tAchieve punctuality targets, On Time Performance Ensure emergency plans are in place for the relevant station;
\n\tPlan, organise and motivate for resources when required;
\n\tCoordinate delay handling, in some severe cases he\/she will be requested to present themselves to the airport;
\n\tCoordinate regular audits to ensure service and safety standards are of the highest quality;
\n\tEnsure a smooth and positive passenger experience;
\n\tPromote customer service KPI as directed by Management and NPS;\u00a0
\n\tEnsure that the external service provider\/s align their customer service standards with that of FlySafair’s standards;
\n\tProvide leadership to supervisors and staff;\u00a0
\n\tEnsure staff maintains effective communication channels;\u00a0
\n\tEnsure staff has the required training and skills;\u00a0
\n\tManage the performance of staff;\u00a0
\n\tManage unresolved staff queries\/issues;\u00a0
\n\tMaintain correct staff levels;\u00a0
\n\tInitiate and manage the recruitment of staff in close co-operation with the company’s HR Division;\u00a0
\n\tManage staff scheduling and activity;\u00a0
\n\tEnforce housekeeping practices;\u00a0
\n\tEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations;\u00a0
\n\tEnsure compliance with the company code of conduct;\u00a0
\n\tRepresent Safair Operations at the Airline Operators Committee (AOC) forum at various stations through third-party service providers;\u00a0
\n\tRepresent Safair Operations at the Local Baggage\/Pilferage Committee at various stations through third-party service providers;\u00a0
\n\tRepresent Safair Operations at the Local Airport Security and Safety Committee at various stations through third-party service providers;\u00a0

Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);\u00a0
\n\tDiploma\/Degree in travel and tourism or aviation (Advantageous);\u00a0
\n\tMinimum of 10 years aviation experience, of which, 5 years must be management experience;\u00a0
\n\tExperience in the following areas: Baggage handling Passenger Handling Operations and Cargo Handling;
\n\tNon-scheduled Operations;\u00a0
\n\tExperience in Commercial Ground Handling agreements;
\n\tExperience working with IOSA and ISAGO audit requirements.<\/p>\n
