\tWe are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented\u00a0Learning & Development Officer\u00a0to support the end-to-end coordination and administration of our learning initiatives \u2014 with a strong focus on leadership development.
\n\tThis role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, logistics, systems, and ensuring that learning experiences are delivered professionally and seamlessly in both in-person and virtual environments.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Learning Programme Coordination<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate and administer leadership development programmes from planning to completion
\n\tManage schedules, candidate applications, programme communications, and documentation
\n\tCoordinate venues, facilitators, catering, logistics, attendance registers, and learner support
\n\tMaintain organised digital content and folder structures (Google Drive \/ LMS)<\/p>\n
LMS Administration & Learning Support<\/p>\n
\tUpload and manage course materials, slides, workbooks, and attendance records
\n\tTrack participation and maintain accurate training records
\n\tSupport assessment processes, including marking administration and feedback coordination
\n\tSet up and host\/co-host online sessions (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet)
\n\tProvide live technical support and troubleshoot issues during sessions<\/p>\n
Presentation & Communication Support<\/p>\n
\tDevelop structured, professional learning presentations (Keynote \/ PowerPoint)
\n\tSupport internal L&D communications to ensure clear, consistent messaging
\n\tMaintain dashboards, trackers, and learning journey records
\n\tSupport reporting related to programme progress and training metrics<\/p>\n
Events & HR Policy Administration<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate quarterly internal events (e.g., Imbizo sessions)
\n\tEnsure HR policies are updated, formatted correctly, and published on the LMS
\n\tSupport Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) activities
\n\tAssist with WSP\/ATR submissions and training register administration
\n\tMaintain compliance with relevant SETA processes<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, or related field
\n\tL&D \/ Training Management qualification (advantageous)
\n\tSETA \/ ETDP accreditation (preferred)
\n\tKnowledge of e-learning platforms \/ LMS (beneficial)<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\t3\u20135 years\u2019 experience in Learning & Development, training coordination, or HR support
\n\tExperience in a fast-paced retail or tech environment (advantageous)
\n\tProject coordination \/ project management experience
\n\tSDF experience including WSP\/ATR submissions (advantage)
\n\tWorking knowledge of SETA processes (advantage)
\n\tAdvanced MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
\n\tConfident LMS administration
\n\tComfortable hosting virtual sessions (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet)
\n\tStrong data tracking and reporting capability<\/p>\n
