Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Financial processing<\/p>\n
\tCollect and process financial data from various sources (bank statements, credit card statements, vendor invoices, emails, online requests).
\n\tMaintain the cashbook, allocate receipts, process payment journals, reconcile daily bank and cash transactions.
\n\tClearing backlog processing
\n\tSupporting urgent month-end tasks
\n\tAsset management (Physical identification against the asset register for tagging)<\/p>\n
Statutory Compliance and Audit Support<\/p>\n
\tMaintain internal control documentation to be used as support for the audit<\/p>\n
Monthly reporting<\/p>\n
\tAssist with ad hoc financial queries as required.<\/p>\n
System<\/p>\n
\tWork with finance team to identify and implement improvements to processes or automation opportunities (e.g. Asset management system).
\n\tEnsure proper documentation of processes and controls (e.g., supplier file management, payment authorisation workflow).<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tBachelors Degree or Diploma in Financial Management or Accounting<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
\n\t\u00a0Exposure to VAT will be beneficial.<\/p>\n
