To evaluate and present applications for funding and structure deals that contribute towards the SBU objectives and the growth and development of the small business sector.
\n\tThis would include performing the complex financial and\/or technical and\/or marketing due diligence functions across the country, as well as leading a due diligence team and ensuring risk identification and mitigation.
\n\tIt is also required to assist the Regional Manager with the implementation of corporate wide initiatives as and when required.<\/p>\n
Qualification and Experience<\/p>\n
\tMinimum qualification: relevant commercial or technical honours degree
\n\tCA (SA) qualification will be an advantage
\n\t8-10 years\u2019 related experience of which 8 years should be in deal assessment as well as closing of transactions (i.e. management of approved deals up to first drawdown, including ensuring timely conclusion of legal agreements).

The IDC was mandated to develop domestic industrial capacity, specifically in manufactured goods, to mitigate the disruption of trade between Europe and South Africa during the Second World War.
