Siemens Healthineers is recruiting for a Customer Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain to a high standard; a range of state-of-the-art medical Invitro equipment and address customer needs promptly and professionally. This is a field role with considerable independence travelling to and working at customer sites.<\/p>\n
What are my responsibilities?<\/p>\n
\tWork in cooperation with the Customer Care Centre to carry out service, maintenance, updates and installation of Siemens Healthineers products within your designated product range and assist under supervision with other products.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure material parts are processed in accordance with policy\u00a0
\n\tMaintain all test equipment, tools and company property in good and working order\u00a0
\n\tEscalate as appropriate situations where customer satisfaction is compromised, or contractual obligations are unlikely to be met\u00a0
\n\tMaintain good communications and teamwork with all Managers and Colleagues\u00a0
\n\tUnderstand and comply with Siemens Healthineers work instructions, quality policy, codes of conduct policies and regulatory requirements always\u00a0
\n\tIdentify any opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of team processes.\u00a0
\n\tComplete personal administration and company mandatory training in a timely and accurate manner\u00a0
\n\tWhen applicable provide out-of-hours technical service support and complete individual mandatory weekend working provision\u00a0
\n\tAttend product training courses locally and abroad to build competence in providing technical assistance and support to customers\u00a0
\n\tWork as part of a multidisciplinary team within customer services to ensure our company values are achieved<\/p>\n
What do I need to qualify for this job?<\/p>\n
\tNational diploma\/ Degree\/ B-tech \/ advance diploma in Electronics, Engineering, Biomedical or related field.
\n\tIdeally you will have previous field service experience where you have made fault finding on electronic or medical equipment. You will also be required to have strong IT, Microsoft Office and Networking Infrastructure skills. Minimum 3 years of experience with InVitro equipment.
\n\tYour customer-facing skills will be invaluable, as you will be required to interface with customers and staff at all levels within Siemens Healthineers, third parties, contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers and must quickly gain the respect of others, both colleagues and customers at all levels<\/p>\n

\tThis role provides support mainly for the Western Cape region however you may be required to support other regions
\n\tYou need to have a valid South African drivers license and your own vehicle.
\n\tYou must not have restrictions to travel
\n\tMust be a South African National, preferably from a designated diversity group<\/p>\n
