KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:<\/p>\n
Financial sustainability<\/p>\n
\tPrepare proposals under direct\/limited supervision, including Open Call proposals.<\/p>\n
Execution, People and Planning<\/p>\n
\tPerform routine scientific and engineering research using standard methods, procedures and equipment.\u00a0 Act as Principal investigators on such projects.
\n\tPerform complex scientific and engineering research under supervision.
\n\tDesign, operate and oversee discipline specific experimental work and ensure that procedures are complied with, and quality control and continual improvement are applied.
\n\tCollect and interpret data at a quantitative and qualitative level using discipline specific standard methodologies and procedures. Including the preparation of analytical and descriptive narratives. Ensure that the interpretation is based on sound scientific \/ engineering theory.
\n\tPlan and manage projects to ensure efficient use of time, equipment and facilities, including coordinating with others.<\/p>\n
Governance and Risk Management<\/p>\n
\tEnsure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies, promote continual improvement\u00a0in the workplace, adhere to and enforce all SHEQ requirements.
\n\tEnsure that the project team understands and adheres to all SHEQ requirements.
\n\tAs Principal Investigator responsible for the assessment and management of all risks at a project level.
\n\tMay be responsible for equipment \/ facilities.<\/p>\n
Relationship Management and Reporting<\/p>\n
\tPresent at local conferences and publish conference papers, journal papers.<\/p>\n
Interactions<\/p>\n
\tStaff in own division, across other divisions to head level; suppliers and vendors (engineers),\u00a0 clients\/collaborators at technical level<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0Minimum: B. Sc. Hons or 4-year Engineering degree.
\n\t\u00a0Ideal: MSc, MEng (NB: other lower degrees, must attain the minimum requirement to stay in this position)
\n\t1- 2 years vocational experience following first graduation (BSc Hon\/BEng)
\n\t\u00a0Must 2 – 3 years Physical Separation experience<\/p>\n
