\nHigh level job objectives<\/p>\n
\tLead and manage the financial, cost and management accounting team to meet the operational financial objectives of the PPECB.
\n\tImplement the organisation\u2019s financial planning and accounting practices,\u00a0
\n\tEffect stakeholder engagement through building and maintain relationships with the treasury, financial institutions and the general financial community.\u00a0
\n\tFormulate and recommend financial procedures and programs that ensure the delivery of services that are professional, impartial, supportive and of quality to internal and external clients
\n\tParticipates in the implementation and maintenance of an infrastructure, policies and procedures relating to finance, information technology and administration.
\n\tCreate opportunities for enhancing financial performance.
\n\tMaintain an effective internal control system that ensures accurate financial reporting and compliance to laws as well as mitigates fraud and error risk in the PPECB.
\n\tDeliver timely accurate reports and annual audited financial statements to inform board and management in supporting decision-making and meeting statutory requirements.
\n\tDeliver sustainable financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting
\n\tTransfer knowledge to all employees on financial and internal control subjects to improve level of financial acumen.<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tDegree in Financial Accounting or similar
\n\tQualified CA(SA), CIMA accreditation<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\tExperience working within a complex financial environment.\u00a08 10 years
\n\tFinancial modelling and variance analysis 5 5 years
\n\tPeople management and leadership 5 5 years
\n\tSuccessfully completed SAICA articles 2<\/p>\n
KnowledgeGRAP\/IFRS<\/p>\n
\tPFMA, National Treasury Regulations, Financial Legislation, BCEA, POPIA
\n\tBudgeting and forecasting

The presence of the PPECB in the export industry is furthermore enhanced by its recognition as an approved third country under the European Commission Regulation 543 of 2011.
