What will you do<\/p>\n
\tThe incumbent will be responsible for commercial lines above mandate authorizations.
\n\tThe incumbent will also be responsible for commercial lines transactional functions which includes broker appointments, cancellations, reinstatements, refund calculations etc. in support of the company\u2019s objectives regarding profit and growth. Coaching and upskilling of broker staff\/system users.

\n\tIdentify and develop sales opportunities and retaining existing business.
\n\tEnsure a consistent and detailed understanding of the sales targets, goals, performance levels, products, business rules and conditions
\n\tEnsure a consistent detailed understanding amongst brokers of their growth targets, goals, performance levels and available products
\n\tEstablishing strategies to further grow the portfolio and contribute ideas, leadership and innovation\u00a0
\n\tUtilize technology to manage data and the performance of the portfolio under management\u00a0
\n\tAnalyze data and regularly ensure that rating structures are aligned with products, underwriting criteria and risks.
\n\tIdentify and drive areas of service levels opportunities (review administration procedure in broker office)
\n\tEngaging with underwriting, and finance teams etc.
\n\tServes as the primary contact for operations, systems, training, audits as well as liaison for resolving issues
\n\tEnsure alignment of quality standards and alignment of business processes\u00a0
\n\tEnsure brokers operate within agreed mandates and authorizations.
\n\tComply with corporate governance policies, procedures and standards
\n\tIdentify and drive opportunities to improve and enhance product and service offerings\u00a0
\n\tKeep abreast of market conditions and trends and relevant industry regulations\u00a0
\n\tEnsuring credibility with brokers by maintaining detailed knowledge of current market conditions and competitors\u2019 products
\n\tResolve broker complaints and queries where necessary
\n\tDrive increased utilization of online and any other self-service platforms\u00a0
\n\tCollaborate and work with support units to deliver required service levels
\n\tCo-ordinates and delivers new and on-going training on products, processes and systems
\n\tImplement retention strategy
\n\tCreate a culture of service excellence both internally and externally<\/p>\n
Qualification and Experience<\/p>\n
\tCompleted grade 12 or equivalent certificate\u00a0
\n\tFAIS credits 150 NQF 4
\n\tRE5 & rep registration would be advantageous
\n\tCommercial product training competed \/ RIA completed\/ policy center system training completed.
\n\tMinimum 5 years Commercial and Agri underwriting experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n
