Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tProvide expert HR policy advice, guidance, and interpretation to managers and employees.
\n\tManage complex employee relations matters with professionalism, objectivity, and sensitivity.
\n\tEnsure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice.
\n\tPartner with leadership to strengthen working relationships, build morale, and enhance productivity and retention.
\n\tLead integrated talent acquisition, performance, and workforce management solutions.
\n\tProvide full-spectrum employee lifecycle and performance support.
\n\tDeliver strategic and operational HR support from hire to exit.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree \/ Equivalent in Human Resources or related field
\n\tValid unendorsed driver\u2019s licence and own reliable transport
\n\t5 \u2013 7 years as an HR Generalist with strong Employee Relations experience
\n\tExperience in a unionised environment will be an advantage
\n\tAdvanced computer literacy, including strong Excel capability<\/p>\n
A combination of the following skills, knowledge, and attributes is required:<\/p>\n
\tProficiency in HR information systems and time and attendance systems.
\n\tSound knowledge of South African labour legislation.
\n\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n\tStrong organisational and administrative capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
\n\tHigh attention to detail and strong sense of accountability.
\n\tProactive problem-solving skills and sound judgement.
\n\tAbility to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.<\/p>\n

In... read more the 1930s, transfusion practice was in its most basic phase of development. Hospitals would request a donation and when a suitable donor was found, they would report to the hospital. There, blood would be transfused directly from the donor to the recipient with only a screen separating them \u2013 a far cry from today\u2019s procedures! The Service was able to provide blood serum and whole blood to military hospitals for the duration of the Second World War from 1939. In 1942, the Service obtained its own building in St. George\u2019s Street where three donors could be accommodated at a time.
