KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:<\/p>\n
\tA vacancy reporting to the Regional Technical Manager exists in the Technical Services Department which forms part of Customer First Division.<\/p>\n
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:<\/p>\n
\tParticipate in and encourage dealer support of EDER (Early Detection Early Resolution) processes and principles.
\n\tGather and analyse product problem information and data and submit Techshare reports as well as PFR`s (Product Feedback Reports).
\n\tAssist dealers with technical and customer queries.
\n\tEnsure dealer complies with Warranty rules to avoid redebits and rejections.
\n\tManage the policy budget provided for out of warranty on known technical problems correctly.
\n\tEnsure that the budget is adhered to.
\n\tManage special service campaigns\/recalls to achieve set company targets.
\n\tAssist CCC (Customer Call Centre) with customer complaint resolution.
\n\tRegular scheduled dealer and fleet owner visits.
\n\tMaintain job related administration functions and records.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:<\/p>\n
\tNQF Level 6 (Minimum 360 credits on level 8 framework) N6 Technical Diploma or similar.
\n\tTrade qualification (Technical Diploma) \u2013 trade test both theory & practical
\n\tWorking experience as a qualified automotive technician.
\n\tDiagnostic fault finding and electrical \/ electronic fault tracing and repair would be an advantage.
\n\tRelevant experience in the technical and retail environment of the motor industry would be an advantage.
\n\tFully computer literate including literacy, MS Office, and outlook.
\n\tReport writing skills are a requirement.
\n\tA minimum of five years technical experience on Lexus and Toyota models would be an advantage.
\n\tWill be required to travel.<\/p>\n
