Coordinator"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>About the job<\/p>\n<p>Purpose of the role:<\/p>\n<p>\tResponsible for coordination of all activities related to GIBS Youth employment and development programmes (YES)<br \/>\n\tAssist senior and executive management in the IT and Operations space with the delivery of high quality, professional engagements.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<p>Youth Employment and Development and Services<\/p>\n<p>Recruitment and Onboarding<\/p>\n<p>\tCoordinating the recruitment of candidates for YES programmes.<br \/>\n\tParticipating and contributing to the interview and selection process.<br \/>\n\tEnsuring that successful YES candidates are onboarded effectively, with appropriate induction and training.<\/p>\n<p>Training<\/p>\n<p>\tEngaging stakeholders with the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) to ensure appropriate training of YES candidates is in in place.<br \/>\n\tIf required, administration of the relationship with training service providers (internal and external) to develop skills of YES candidates, or mentors.<br \/>\n\tMonitoring and reporting on training progress and outcomes.<br \/>\n\tWith the SDM, maintain a relationship with HCD Training to ensure alignment to the broader school training regime.<\/p>\n<p>Talent Placement and Development<\/p>\n<p>\tCentral contact point for matters relating to YES candidates, placement performance and issues.<br \/>\n\tAssist with deployment of YES candidates to business units in line with desired outcomes.<br \/>\n\tGeneral administration of the Youth programmes<br \/>\n\tAdministration of BBBEE objectives pertaining to YES programmes.<br \/>\n\tEvaluation and reporting of performance of candidates with mentors.<br \/>\n\tProvide or coordinate support to YES candidates where required.<\/p>\n<p>Class Support (where digital modes require the use of session production)<\/p>\n<p>\tScheduling and deploying session production from the YES pool to events requiring synchronous online components.<br \/>\n\tFirst line escalation point for faculty and programme management with regards any issues related to YES support, working with SDM where required.<br \/>\n\tReporting on utilisation and issues.<\/p>\n<p>Operations Management Support<\/p>\n<p>\tAssist senior and executive management ensuring the office of the COO\/CIO presents a professional face to the business by supporting consistency and quality of key deliverables.<br \/>\n\tMonitoring key meetings such as OpsCo and SteerCo to ensure management is adequately prepared, and that they prepare and circulate artefacts such as agendas, minutes, and other documentation timeously and professionally.<br \/>\n\tCoordinating follow-up on action items for key meetings.<br \/>\n\tAssist with documentation and reports if necessary.<br \/>\n\tCoordination (project administration) of special projects as needed.<br \/>\n\tAssist with research and data collection for special projects as needed.<\/p>\n<p>QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n<p>\tDegree or equivalent qualification<br \/>\n\tProject administration experience or qualifications would be beneficial.<br \/>\n\tExperience with session production and technologies deployed at GIBS, such as Zoom, Teams, Blackboard.<br \/>\n\tExperience working with internship, graduate, or youth development programmes.<\/p>\n<p>COMPETENCIES<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge<\/p>\n<p>\tSession production in education, particularly hybrid engagement.<br \/>\n\tProject administration \/ management.<\/p>\n<p>Skills<\/p>\n<p>\tGeneral administration.<br \/>\n\tSupervision of groups of junior people.<br \/>\n\tMicrosoft productivity tools such as Office and Outlook.<br \/>\n\tMedia and audio-visual technologies such as Zoom, Teams.<\/p>\n<p>Attributes<\/p>\n<p>\tConfident<br \/>\n\tStrong communicator<br \/>\n\tInterpersonal skills, empathic<br \/>\n\tAttention to
