Job Description<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a reliable and hardworking\u00a0Operator A\u00a0to operate the waste baler machine and ensure that waste cardboard is processed efficiently according to company standards.
\n\tThe successful candidate will be responsible for baling waste materials to the correct specifications, maintaining housekeeping standards, and adhering strictly to health and safety regulations.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 or NQF Level 4 Equivalent.
\n\tForklift license and experience would serve as an advantage
\n\tAttention to detail and a willingness to grow
\n\tExperience working in a dispatch\/logistics department.
\n\tTo be available to work overtime and be flexible.
\n\tGood time management
\n\tPhysically fit and able to perform manual duties
\n\tAbility to work under pressure
\n\tPrevious experience operating a baler machine (advantageous)<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibility<\/p>\n
\tBale waste cardboard into the correct sizes according to operational requirements
\n\tOperate the waste baler machine safely and efficiently
\n\tAdhere to health and safety procedures at all times
\n\tPerform daily routine machine checks and complete required checklists
\n\tPrepare wire for strapping waste bales
\n\tNumber completed bales and report to the supervisor for collection
\n\tAssist with loading of waste bales when required
\n\tMaintain housekeeping standards and keep the baling area clean and orderly<\/p>\n
