Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tCarry out surface preparation, including cleaning and grinding, to ensure proper adhesion of lining materials.
\n\tInstall various types of linings (e.g., HDPE, LLDPE, GCL, and Geotextiles) according to manufacturer specifications, engineering drawings, and site requirements.
\n\tUse tools and equipment such as wedge welders, extrusion welders, hot air blowers, tensiometers, and other heat fusion equipment as required for the specific lining system.
\n\tConduct visual checks and measurements during and after installation to ensure the correct quality of seams and welds.
\n\tWork closely with QA\/QC personnel to address any quality concerns or defects identified during inspection.
\n\tFollow strict safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to environmental and occupational health standards.
\n\tAssist in maintaining tools, equipment, and materials in good working order.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tExperience:\u00a0Minimum 8-10 years of experience in geosynthetics, civil construction, or pipe fusion (preferred).
\n\tPhysical Stamina:\u00a0Ability to lift and carry fusion equipment and work 10+ hour shifts outdoors in various weather conditions.
\n\tTravel Readiness:\u00a0Must be willing to travel to remote project sites for extended periods (often several weeks).
\n\tTechnical Skills:\u00a0Proficiency with basic hand\/power tools and the ability to read simple construction drawings.
\n\tQualifications:\u00a0Thermoplastic Overlap Welding Certificate or IAGI Certified Welding Technician (preferred)<\/p>\n
