Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Stock & Kitchen Operations<\/p>\n
\tImplement and uphold all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
\n\tOversee daily stock control of food, beverages, and equipment.
\n\tConduct and reconcile weekly\/monthly stock counts.
\n\tManage procurement and ensure accurate reporting.
\n\tReduce wastage through efficient stock management and portion control.
\n\tMaintain equipment, monitor food storage, and ensure compliance with hygiene and temperature standards.<\/p>\n
Health, Safety & Compliance<\/p>\n
\tLead HACCP implementation and promote a strong safety culture.
\n\tConduct regular hygiene inspections and attend monthly Health & Safety meetings.
\n\tEnsure compliance with the Department of Health and internal standards.
\n\tPromptly report and investigate all incidents or hazards.<\/p>\n
Team Leadership & Training<\/p>\n
\tSupervise and mentor scullers and kitchen staff.
\n\tConduct regular check-ins and provide constructive feedback.
\n\tTrain team members on SOPs, hygiene standards, and safe kitchen practices.
\n\tOversee onboarding and induction of new employees.<\/p>\n
Administration & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tComplete and submit accurate operational reports.
\n\tManage kitchen assets, utensils, and equipment.
\n\tDrive process improvements and efficiency initiatives.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\tDiploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field advantageous
\n\tFood Safety \/ Hygiene Certification\u00a0<\/p>\n
Experience & Knowledge<\/p>\n
\tPrevious experience in a\u00a0kitchen, catering, or food service environment
\n\tProven exposure to\u00a0stock control, ordering, and inventory management
\n\tUnderstanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
\n\tBasic Health & Safety knowledge
\n\tExperience working with POS systems (advantageous)<\/p>\n
